AGARA
Agara is a bowl made of agar seaweed gelatin, vegetable glycerin, and water. The materials are combined and heated, then poured into a mold. As the water evaporates and the material dries, it hardens, darkens, shrinks, and distorts, resulting in unpredictable organic forms.

At the end of its life, Agara can be placed in a backyard compost pile and fully decomposes within a few months. Unlike other bioplastics, it does not have to be industrially composted.
